Cabbage Tossed Salad


                4 cups chopped cabbage (mix varieties, i.e. savoy, red or purple, etc.)
                2 celery ribs, chopped
                3 green onions, sliced
                1/2 cup vinegar
                1/4 cup vegetable oil
                4-1/2 teaspoons sugar
                3/4 teaspoon salt, optional
                1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
                1/4 teaspoon pepper


In a large bowl, toss the lettuce, cabbage, celery and onions. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Serves 4
