The Cost of a Share
A Share consists of a variety of vegetables, small fruits and greens. We grow over 200 different varieties of produce, from Sungold Cherry Tomatoes to Sweet Slicing Cucumbers to Arugula and Watermelon. Every week throughout the season, you will be presented with an array of produce to choose from. Early Spring distributions will be smaller and the size of the share will increase as the season progresses. We strive to provide you with as much choice as possible when you pick up your share. We also strive to ensure that membership in the farm is accessible to all income levels.
The cost of the share for the 2008 season is based on a sliding scale. The share fee ranges from $445 to $545. We ask that you select the fee that you choose to pay within this range and indicate that level on the agreement form. Please consider some of the benefits of joining when you select your payment amount:
- weekly pick up of the freshest, most nutritious, chemical free produce available
- access to a wide variety of U-Pick vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs
- access to the farm for walking, picnicking, and recreation
- a weekly newsletter filled with news and info about what’s happening on the farm as well as recipes and ideas about how to store and prepare your veggies
- connection to a community of folks and invitation to farm events
Shares may be split between people although we ask that, if possible, families purchase their own share. Please note that a share must be picked up at one time- share partners may meet at the farm or one person can be designated to pick up the whole share. To avoid confusion, share partners can not come separately to pick up a portion of the share.
We ask that all members who are able to do so make one payment in full. If this is not possible, we offer an installment payment plan. The first payment of $150 is due with the agreement form. The remaining balance is due in full by May 31st.
If you need special arrangements please talk with us.
