El Jardín Bakery was started in 2001 as a non-profit business development venture of Nuestras RaÌces, Inc., a local organization that promotes sustainable development and coordinates community gardens as well as a farm in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

The Alternative Farming Systems Information Center (AFSIC) focuses on topics related to sustainable and alternative agricultural systems, crops and livestock.

Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association
Biodynamic agriculture was inaugurated in 1924 by Austrian scientist Rudolf Steiner. It is the oldest, non-chemical agricultural movement and pre-dates organic agriculture by some twenty years. Biodynamics does more than avoid chemicals and seeks to actively work with the health-giving forces of nature. Biodynamics is a world-wide agricultural movement.

A free online directory of nearly 9,000 farms, stores, restaurants and other outlets that offer sustainably-raised meat, poultry, dairy, and eggs in the United States and Canada.

The New Farm
